TELEKOM Interactive Multi-Touch Table

Interactive Multi-Touch Table to Advertise Cloud Computing at the Cebit

PROJECT IMAGES

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

QBus hired me to creative direct eight interactive installations for the Telekom stand at the Cebit. This multi-touch table was the main attraction. The brief was to create an elegant and playful solution to teach customers about cloud computing. When visitors approached the table, they would affect rings orbiting or they can send lightnings across the table or push clouds across. Particle swarms on the table would form world maps and provoke the audience to either let go or touch something else. Once they interacted, typography comes to the surface that teaches them about the first level. Once they engage further, they could access different depth of information. RFID tags on the table also allowed a presenter to bring up specific menus when necessary.
